Position Title: Sr. Staff Software Engineer / Solution Architect (Java/Mulesoft)
Location in Andheri, Mumbai
Hybrid role: 2 – 3 days onsite
Role and Responsibilities:
· As a hands-on Sr. Staff Engineer, you will work directly with other engineers in the local and remote locations to build and expand features that span various parts of the system
• Collaborate with various business and IT stakeholders to ensure integration services align with the agile cycle of product releases that support the overall business vision and technical architecture
• Take a long-term strategic approach to development considering the product roadmap
• Collaborate with architecture team and senior technology leaders to establish C4E
• Shape the strategy, architecture, platform, and standards for the Integration team
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and framework for automated testing
• You're comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces and have exquisite attention to detail
• You're a fast learner and comfortable learning new technologies and systems
• Own the entire lifecycle of our product implementation, from design through implementation to launch.
• Perform all other job-related duties as requested
Skill Requirements/Preferences
• Design and develop enterprise services using RAML in REST based APIs, SOAP Web Services and use of different Mule connectors
• Configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and API analytics with API manager
• Extensive hands-on experience designing with Anypoint Studio and related components (Mule ESB, ETLs, flows, Dataweave, Filtering, exception handling, API management)
• Deep understanding of REST, HTTP, MQ, JSON, XML and SOA
• Expertise in message transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration in
• Work with multiple stakeholders to define integration and API scope and specifications for a large-scale transformation program by running a detailed assessment and discover
• Experience with 3rd PartyAnypoint Connectors and Cloud solutions.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Ability to work with Anypoint Studio (importing projects, switching between different mule runtimes, handling POM files, mule palette etc.)
• Knowledge of current industry trends in data integration between external and internal systems.
• Manage expectations with ease of handling conflict resolution, mindful of time management and team dynamics.
Education & Experience Requirements
• 15+ plus years of IT experience.
• 8+ Years of overall experience with strong Java and integration background
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with CloudHub, on-prem and API Management.
• Hands on experience
• MuleSoft Certified (Developer or/and Platform/Integration Architect)
• Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and API strategy development
• Experience with the entire API development lifecycle from design & build to governance & management
• Must have experience with common relational database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Must have experience integrating with SaaS solutions like Salesforce, Oracle Cloud ERP (OCI) or Workday.
• Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols like XML, SOAP, REST, JSON and JDBC
• Experience with Alteryx or other commercial ETL tools and cloud data pipelines.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD implementations. Azure DevOps experience a plus.
· Excellent communications skills, comfortable working with middle and senior management
• 6+ years of experience in an Agile development environment. Experience with SAFe is a plus.
Experience with IBM API Connect, Azure API Management, OIC and Kafka a plus
