Process Overview
The CSWT team leads the development of the next generation of integrated technology solutions for the company’s consumer and wealth management client-facing channels. Manages the Bank’s award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Digital, Online, Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, Payments and Commerce, Fraud, Financial Center and Architecture Technologies.
Job Description
The individual will be a member of the Monitoring & Tools Support for the Glassbox Engg team that supports a 12x7 operation out of India.
Responsibilities
• Monitor Clean Console, eMail alerts, News Pages, user reported issues on email
• Respond to User issues/queries through eMail, MOC and Enterprise Chat room
• Perform health-checks as per decided frequency and interval
• Follow the instructions to resolve known and documented issues using Play books/ Run books
• Troubleshoot incidents
• Website monitoring and debugging - JavaScript, HTML, cookies & web analytics
• Send communication using standard template for planned outages
• Keep all stakeholders updated timely on the progress of the issue resolution until it is restored. Tracking and documentation of incident in Incident Management Tool
• Coordinate with SAs, Middleware, Database Administrators and Engineering teams on bridge lines for troubleshooting critical issues.
• Ensure that all incidents/work requests that are created and processed and resolved according to the committed SLAs
• Identify and reduce false alerts and Noise, work with L3/Engineering teams to fine tune monitoring
• Create and maintain Playbook repository
Requirements
Education: B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
Certifications, If Any: Not Mandatory
Experience Range: 2 to 4Yrs
Foundational Skills
• In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux platform with web app (java, .net) hosting experience
• Good understanding of network technologies/components (LTMs, load balancing, data aggregation tools – Gigamon, etc)
• Diverse and hands-on engineering and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of HTTP protocol and REST API
• Solid understanding of web server technologies (Apache, Tomcat, IIS, etc.)
• Understanding of website monitoring and debugging tools, JavaScript, HTML, cookies & web analytics
• Understanding how different components in a web system fit together and affect each other, including software, hardware, and networking components
• Self-motivated individual that can operate independently, own deliverables end-to-end, and overcome obstacles to achieve end-results with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
• Good communication and project management skills
• Participate in on-call support rotation
Desired Skills
• Experience with end user monitoring tools such as Glassbox will be helpful
• Experience with real-user, network or other monitoring tools
• Knowledge of elastic search will be helpful
Work Timings: Rotational 12 X7 shift
