TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the company’s employees, customers and clients around the world.Job Description Individual will be required to provide MSSQL support for complex applications. He/she will work with stakeholders on a daily basis to provide design and build activities, manage and resolve incidents.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for End to End support of MSSQL Platform including Database monitoring, investigating problems and developing solutionsResponsible database refreshes using Avamar, NetBackup and resolving logical and physical corruptionsResponsible for identifying OS CPU, memory and IO issues and suggest improvementsResponsible for Database Security and availabilityResponsible for Change implementations and blackouts according to Release docs or implementation PlanResponsible to work with application team and guide them in proper implementation planRequirementsEducationUniversity DegreeExperience range:1-2 years of MSSQL DBA experienceFoundational skills:Experience in supporting MSSQL Platforms.Rapid Home Provisioning operations and manage Rapid Home Provisioning Servers and Clients.Understanding Windows Administration.Experience in Database and Server migrations.Good Analytical skills to identify RCAs across platformExcellent oral/written communication skillsShould be able to work independently and support complex and highly critical environmentDesired SkillsConfiguring monitoring tools like FoglightUsing Bladelogic Database Automation (BDA) for Database activities like installation, patching and upgradesWork Timings:6:30 AM to 3:30 PM – Shift A1:30 PM to 10:30 PM – Shift BShould be willing to support night shift on rotational basis if requiredJob Location: Gurugram,Mumbai,Hyderabad,Chennai,GIFT
