Help develop Arch’s policy perspective, and communicating that internally and to policymakers and other influencers as appropriate and consistent with the strategy This may include the drafting of talking points, policy memoranda, comment letters, or other advocacy content Proactively monitor and research legislation of importance to Arch’s business units and lines of authority and keeping Arch informed Work with various trade associations to represent Arch and our concerns and priorities Identify political, legislative and regulatory risks and opportunities Maintain legislative and regulatory change management system Develop and execute strategic plans and solutions to recognize policy risks and opportunities, define, protect and advance Arch’s objectives and reputation Publish internal communications regarding regulatory and legislative matters Develop a deep understanding of Arch P&C insurance products, services, and business strategy to effectively advocate for Arch’s interests Required Skills/Experience Working knowledge and experience with state legislative and regulatory agencies including insurance department personnel and processes Advocacy skills, including demonstrated analytical abilities and strong oral and written communication Demonstrated knowledge of the P&C insurance business Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on internal and external matters Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point; familiarity with remote access tools (VPN) and other web-based tools Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree in political science, public policy, public relations, communications, risk management or a related field preferred 4-5 years of professional experience in the state government and/or federal government and/or government relations and insurance industry knowledge #LI-Hybrid #LI-EO1 For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible. $7+,+00 - $107,+00/year Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. Your Impact
• Provide Technical Support to customers and partners
• Provide configurations, troubleshooting and best practices to customers
• Manage support cases to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner
• Provide fault isolation and root cause analysis for technical issues
• Publish Technical Support Bulletins and other technical documentation in the Knowledge Base
• Review of technical documentation for training materials, technical marketing collateral, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
• Travel to customer sites in the event of a critical situation to expedite resolution as required
• Provide on-call support 24x7 on an as-needed basis

Qualifications

Your Experience
• Able to effectively communicate to all levels and stakeholders - internally and externally on complex technical issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to see the bigger picture
• Ability to work independently, as well as contribute as a team player
• Knowledge of one or more virtualization hypervisors - VMWare ESX/ESXi, KVM/Qemu, Citrix, XenServer, Microsoft Hyper-V
• Demonstrable basic knowledge with AWS and Microsoft Azure installation, configuration, and administration of security features and services including identity and access management, service-related security features, networking, firewalls, encryption, and related best practices
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle cloud infrastructure(OCI)
• Knowledge of deploying firewalls in one or more Public cloud infrastructures: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and Alibaba
• Experience deploying third-party networking and security services into VMware NSX for vSphere is a plus
• Good understanding of the following networking protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLAN, OSPF, BGP)
• Good understanding with Security Protocols (IPSEC / SSL-VPN / NAT)
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper(Netscreen), Fortinet is a plus
• Knowledge of traffic generation tools and scripting languages is a plus

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $108000 - $175200/YR.
