Job Description
This position will work on GrapeCity's products, collaboratively with the product management team using the latest tools and technologies, including:
• VisualStudio.NET
• XML, HTML
• JavaScript
• HelpStudio by Innovasys
• .NET Core, Blazor
• C#.NET, .ASP.NET/MVC
Project Management/Communication - 20% | Writing and Reviewing - 65% | Mentoring and Supervising - 15%
Primary Responsibilities:
• Write high quality technical documentation for GrapeCity products
• Create new and update existing help files using the help authoring tool
• Explore product API’s and samples to understand the product and features
• Work with subject matter experts to obtain an in‐depth understanding of the products
• Write small code snippets to be added to the documentation
• Create simple use‐case samples to explain product features
• Report issues with product’s API, demo(s), website, etc. found during exploration
• Create and communicate documentation plans with the stakeholders
• Review the content of the juniors/peers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in technical writing in the relevant field with at least 1 to2 years of experience in project management
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understanding of HTML language and programming basics
• Exposure to any Help Authoring tool would be preferred
