DBRRTS Operations India is a part of the DB group, a world- leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide.
We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 16 RRTS and + MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.

The Signalling Technician will be responsible for:
• The management and the performance of the following assets (summarized) :
• Signalling, Automatic Train Control (ATC)
• Execution of maintenance by managing the current needs and priorities of the work programs.
• Assist the Telecom AM, JE in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the Telecom systems.
• Install, service and repair Signalling systems and train control systems
• Carry out repair and maintenance work with the use of hand, machine, electrical and electronic tools and reference to technical drawings, schematics, manuals, procedures, and instructions.
• Knowledge and competence in technical standards will be regularly assessed.
• Maintain and update maintenance records of Signalling systems and equipment performance, work accomplished and other relevant documents.
• Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are maintained in good condition both before and after job activities
• Assist the AM and JE or other technical support staff to implement complex systems or new projects.
• Perform shift and emergency duties when required.
• Perform and carry out duties as instructed/ directed by the JE, AM or Manager higher authority.
• He shall keep himself always available and in constant readiness to act promptly and expedite restoration in case of breakdowns or emergency situations both during on duty and off duty hours.
• He shall follow correct maintenance with special reference to safety of track system.
• He shall inform to Engineer in advance about spares required for maintenance of various equipment whenever notices such requirements.
• He shall perform his duties with responsibility.
• ITI in Electronics or any related subject.
• 2-4 Year of experience
• Pro-active and self-starter attitude, confidence, and independence
• Excellent communication, networking, and logical thinking
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office application
