Position Summary
Understand, prioritize, and translate client goals into effectively designed digital products. Imagine, establish, and implement the conceptual and stylistic direction of the User Interface (UI) for software products using interactive graphic solutions for online and mobile delivery. Bulk of work is User Interface Design.
Responsibilities
• Ideate, conceptualize, and iterate design scenarios based on client requirements and input
• Elicit client feedback and response towards provided concepts with the goal to improve design and exceed client expectations
• Conduct design iteration meetings in collaboration with the program/client and development teams
• Present and deliver effective design solutions with express design justification to facilitate client buy-in
• Manage UI design timelines, milestones and scheduled deliverables
• Provide UI design with effective User Experience (UX) that fully illustrates interface layout, behaviors, hierarchy of content, and intended navigation
• Provide detailed design and specifications to developers for fixed or responsive design compatible with all common mobile platforms, devices, and web browsers
• Design develop and maintain ETS and client Visual Style Guides
• Create and follow design guidelines for visual language, color story, themes, CSS styles, etc. based on ETS and client standards
• Demonstrate a high level of understanding of current accessibility and usability standards, implementation and problem solving
• Provide and Implement effective research design analysis when required
• Create valid test scenarios for A/B testing
• Implement user interface based on standards that support the existing development framework standards
• Facilitates a supportive work environment that encourages effective peer review critique and design brainstorming
• Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function
Education, Certifications, Or Special Licenses
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Digital Arts, Web Design/Development, User Experience, Interaction Design, Animation, Visual Media, Graphic Arts or similar field of study
• Portfolio Required: Online presentation of design work experience
