Requirements
We are looking for an experienced candidate for the role of Senior Unity Developer to help define the gameplay roadmap, designing the architecture and implementation of new core systems. You’ll guide and mentor other engineers in your team helping them and reviewing their work. You’ll collaborate with game designers to create new and fun gameplay experiences. Also you’ll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing existing systems in terms of memory, CPU and network bandwidth
What you'll be doing
Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems
Prototype and code new gameplay features
Lead, mentor, and review the work of other gameplay engineers
Optimize and do bug-fixing of existing gameplay systems
Take part in the design process of the gameplay
Ensure that the systems are well-designed and optimal in terms of CPU and memory consumption
Create templates of various code repositories for reusability
Create and execute long-term development plans and technical documentation
Follow best practices, development processes, documentation, and coding standards
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience in the game industry
Deep understanding of data structures and 3D maths
Understanding of data-oriented paradigm
Deep knowledge of C#
Experience in using Unity asset bundles / addressable system.
Experience working with APIs such as Firebase and/or other backend services
Experience with creating and maintaining dedicated multiplayer servers.
Experience developing and optimizing for mobile devices (iOS, Android) and WebGL.
Experience with Git and/or other DVCS.
Multi-threaded programming skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Able to work in a collaborative and distributed development environment with excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills
Able to adapt to new and emerging technologies
Good to have:
Experience with Unity new Data Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS).
Experience with Unity new Scripted Render Pipeline.
Shader programming
Knowledge of Crypto/Web 3.
