Job Description – Accounts Executive
Candidate Requirements:
Semi-Qualified or Qualified Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant
Four years of relevant work experience in accounts, book-keeping or tax role
Good English communication skills and detail-oriented
Interest to learn and use technology or new accounting software tools in accounting work activities and processes
Role & Responsibilities:
Candidate will be working with a US based client and supporting their senior accountants on various accounting & bookkeeping activities. Some of the daily tasks or deliverables would include:
Preparing statement reconciliations related to clients’ bank activities.
Book-keeping/Data entry & preparing general ledger account reconciliation.
Other accounting reconciliations.
Maintaining company accounting records and preparing periodic management reports (monthly, quarterly, or yearly).
Preparing General Ledger Reclass journal entries after initial/final review. – Preparing journal entries per Clients’ instructions.
Compiling daily/monthly reports as requested.
Skill Requirements:
Someone with strong attention to detail;
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong command of MS Office suite or Google Office suite
Ability to be patient and work with other team members.
Although not a pre-requisite, candidates with some experience working in QuickBooks accounting software will be at an advantage.
