L. T. Westlake is an Early Learning to Grade 5 Fine Arts Elementary School in Taber, AB. Westlake prides itself on having small class sizes and offering its students a variety of learning opportunities to ensure they can explore their interests.
0.50 FTE Temporary Kindergarten Teacher-Mondays, Wednesdays & some Fridays
Assignment includes - Mondays and Wednesdays with some Fridays.
L.T. Westlake Fine Arts Elementary School is looking for a dynamic individual who is focused on building strong relationships to join our team to teach kindergarten. Our program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays with some Fridays.
The ideal candidate will:
Be willing to collaborate with other staff members
Have experience in an early education setting
Be focused on having an inclusive classroom
Have strong classroom management skills
Be an excellent planner, with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment strategies
Create creative and engaging lessons
Have a literacy or numeracy background
Having a fine arts strength/background would be ideal but is not required
