ABOUT THIS ROLE

Fulwell is looking for a detailed-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should possess analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, and be highly organized. The position will report to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries and supporting documents according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures and prepare respective financial reports, including reconciliations of various G/L accounts

Responsible for appropriate month-end and quarter-end accruals

Perform monthly bank reconciliations for Corporate and Production accounts

Assist with processing accounts payable bills and preparing accounts receivable invoices

Recommend improvements to current accounting processes to enhance and streamline department workflows

Prepare documentation and supporting information for financial audits and tax compliance

Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

Minimum 1 - 3 years of accounting experience, in entertainment industry preferred

Experience with NetSuite is a plus

Knowledge of US GAAP

Strong proficiency with Excel

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with superior attention to detail

Strong communication skills with ability to present analysis and findings in both verbal and written formats

Must be flexible and willing to take on any additional tasks as needed

Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new things
