Position Summary
Acceldata is building the data observability cloud for global enterprises. As a staff engineer, you will own the core Acceldata platform data engine. We’re looking for people with a strong background or inclination towards data engineering; you’re comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces and have a solid understanding of modern Data management systems
We’re looking for someone who can:
Designing, coding, and debugging software.
Investigating software-related complaints and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal software performance.
Dive deep into open-source data engines and work on optimizing their performance.
Design, build and maintain low-latency APIs
Work closely with our customers and sales teams on a regular basis to carve out new features and use cases
Work with database systems, RDBMS, Mongo, and Elastic Search.
Develop services that will be consumed by frontend and solution engineers
Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues.
What makes you the right fit for this position?
++ years of solid development expertise in one or more generic programming languages is required.
JVM (Java, Scala, Kotlin) Strong data structure, algorithm design, and problem-solving basics in computer science.
Hands on experience with managed cloud technologies.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, expertise shipping enterprise software, SQL competence, and general experience working with data storage and retrieval systems Organized, comprehensive, and attention to detail.
Worked extensively on data platform and data orchestration systems.
Good to have
Contribution to open-source projects.
Background in enterprise software
JVM performance tuning and debugging
