About The Role
The Insurance team’s goal is to provide a modern, easy-to-use way for companies to offer insurance -medical, dental, disability, etc. - to their employees, across the globe. We build software that automates the tedium of managing insurance offerings and submitting enrollments. Additionally, the insurance team automates the administration of FSA, HSA, commuter benefits, and COBRA, allowing companies to provide more benefits to their employees with minimal overhead. Most of all, we are disrupting a 1.3 trillion dollar US insurance industry and bringing it into the digital world.
What You'll Do:
Contribute to the global expansion of the Insurance product, working in tandem with different third party systems and building a unified system supporting multiple countries.
Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to plan features to help bring a high quality product to market
Be part of our Frontend Architecture Team and help 70+ frontend engineers boosting their development cycle.
Translate wireframes into functional requirements, write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components.
Suggest continuous improvements in user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
Qualifications:
8+ years experience in front end engineering roles. We use React, TypeScript and JavaScript on the front end.
Strong understanding of JS fundamentals.
Understanding of design patterns in JavaScript and knowledge of front end performance optimization techniques
Knowledge in BFF and GraphQL would be an added advantage.
Good understanding with build tools and web performance.
Fluent in writing high quality code with relevant test suits.
