About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist for a permanent full-time position within Medical Imaging, Palmerston North Hospital. The position includes rotation through all shifts and provides coverage for General X-Ray, Theatre, ED, and Mobiles. Interventional Radiology and / or CT experience would be an asset. Site specific orientation will be provided as required.
You will be joining a team of around 60 MIT's: including MRI, CT, General, NM and Sonographers.
Some of your responsibilities
Conducting all patient examinations to a high standard
Maintaining accurate patient data and ensuring all administrative processes are complete including paperwork for all exams.
Practicing procedures in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring health and safety regulations are met
Providing supervision for MIT students (as required).

NZ registration and a current annual practicing certificate

Excellent time management skills, including initiative and flexibility.
IV-line insertion would be considered as asset.
