Job Description
Assessing and Implementing patient care plans in consultation with Consultants/Doctors.
• Providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
• Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
• Maintaining all the patient specific daily registers up to date.
• Maintaining the daily inventory of medicines including High risk medicines, emergency medicines, and equipment up to date
• Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
• Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
• Collaborating on discharge planning with the Duty Doctors.
• Attending rounds with Medical/Nursing personnel.
• Handing over and takeover charge of patients at the end of the shift.
• Supervise patients diet.
