Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Lab/X-Ray department regarding patient investigations and ensure timely collection of reports.
• Manage patient care plans, including daily operational requirements, patient treatment plans, and day-to-day reporting.
• Monitor and report daily quality parameters, and collaborate with Bio Medical Engineers for equipment calibration and issue resolution.
• Communicate with the pharmacy regarding the availability of prescribed medicines and manage the indent of consumables and disposables.
• Assist in obtaining insurance approvals and handle billing clarifications before proceeding with clinical procedures or surgeries.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and patient status, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Provide support and education to mothers caring for neonates, and ensure adherence to key program guidelines.
• Delegate tasks to nurse associates and healthcare assistants, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with hospital protocols.
Requirements:
• Nursing Diploma or Degree (B.Sc Nursing, GNM) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably at a reputed healthcare institution like Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
• Strong knowledge of nursing operations, equipment, and infection control practices.
• Clinical and technical competence with a people-oriented, flexible, and adaptable approach.
• Ability to work in accordance with ISO and other applicable health standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to report and document patient care effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals, support staff, and patients' families.
