You will collaborate with the healthcare team, follow doctors' rounds, and promptly carry out orders and instructions.
Responsibilities:
• Orient new patients to the ward and ensure a comfortable admission process.
• Perform medical and surgical nursing procedures as per NABH standards.
• Complete medical and surgical checklists to ensure thorough patient care.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control practices.
• Coordinate patient care with various healthcare team members.
• Follow doctors' rounds and promptly execute orders and instructions.
• Conduct necessary checks before administering medications to avoid complications.
• Observe and record changes in patient conditions, taking necessary actions.
• Provide special care and precautions to vulnerable patients.
• Impart health education to patients based on their diagnosis and requirements.
• Follow waste management practices as per hospital policies.
• Answer patients' call bells promptly and attend to their needs.
• Take daily equipment and drug inventory, maintaining accurate records.
• Foster positive interpersonal relationships with nurse administrators, senior staff, juniors, and students.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• 1 - 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of NABH standards and medical-surgical nursing procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and waste management rules.
• Ability to handle medical equipment and administer medications safely.
