Job description, work day and responsibilities
• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the general ward, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine procedures.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility for patients who require assistance.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical exams and health history evaluations.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and their families about medication usage and potential side effects.
• Perform and assist with various medical procedures, including wound care, catheter insertion, and IV administration.
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment.
