Staff SDET

Description:
• As a member of the Everbridge Engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of modular, extensible, and reusable test cases/scripts
• You will be integrated with an engineering team and will partner with other team members to drive quality best practices into the application development process
• Promoting continuous improvement, you'll identify opportunities to maximize the customer experience and reduce the test cycle time by improving techniques, and tooling, eliminating waste, and creating a collaborative, proactive approach to quality

Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in testing and automation of enterprise grade distributed applications and services
• At least 8 years of experience with Python or a similar programming language for test automation (Python preferred)
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in API test automation using Pytest, RestAssured, or similar tools
• At least 7 years’ experience in Frontend automation using Selenium, WebdriverIO , Playwright or similar tools
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with one or more version control systems such as Github, Gitlab etc.
• Experience in database technologies (SQL and NOSQL)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture
• Familiar with containerization and related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
• At least 3 years of prior experience in a Principal/Staff SDET or Automation Architect role is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
