About the role
The App platform at Rippling enables our customers to connect hundreds of 3rd party applications to the Rippling core applications through the power of APIs and developer tooling. We are on a mission to build a comprehensive suite of capabilities and interfaces to rapidly build and integrate thousands of third-party apps and data with Rippling’s platform to fuel business growth. Our vision is to drive a significant amount of automation in employee-related business systems and centralize:
High-value workflows that accomplish business goals
Insights and reporting that drive business decisions
Data that powers compliance processes and regulatory output

What you will do
Lead mission-critical projects and deliver platform capabilities end-to-end with high quality.
Have clear ownership of one or many products or platform spaces.
Be part of our Frontend Architecture Team and help 70+ frontend engineers boosting their development cycle.
Translate wireframes into functional requirements, write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components.
Suggest continuous improvements in user interface, software architecture or new technologies.
Influence architecture, technology selections and trends of the whole company
Qualifications
8+ years experience in front end engineering roles. We use React, TypeScript and JavaScript on the front end.
Strong understanding of JS fundamentals.
Understanding of design patterns in JavaScript and knowledge of front end performance optimization techniques
Knowledge in BFF and GraphQL would be an added advantage.
Good understanding with build tools and web performance.
Fluent in writing high quality code with relevant test suits.
