About the Role:
StafGo Health is seeking a highly experienced Medical Biller to handle oral and maxillofacial surgery billing for our clients. You will manage the full billing cycle, including accurate coding, claim submission, and AR follow-up. Your role will involve working with medical insurance providers and ensuring compliance with the regulations specific to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Role start as contract and can lead to full time opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the complete billing cycle for oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures.
• Ensure accurate claim submissions using CPT , ICD-10 , and HCPCS codes.
• Manage AR follow-up, including working with insurance companies to resolve any issues.
• Verify insurance details, ensuring proper coverage and reimbursement for procedures.
• Review and analyze denied claims and work on re-submissions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and insurance companies for timely claim resolution.
• Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with medical billing standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of medical billing experience, with specific expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery billing.
• Extensive knowledge of CPT , ICD-10 , and HCPCS codes related to maxillofacial surgery.
• Strong experience in insurance verification, claim submission, and AR follow-up.
• Proficient in billing software and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with oral surgery clients or within the maxillofacial surgery specialty.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot billing issues efficiently.
