About the role

The Fono is calling for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Immunisations Outreach Team at our Henderson Clinic, West Auckland. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to walk alongside Pacific families, strengthening community protection through trusted, culturally safe vaccination services.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering mobile immunisation clinics and home-based visits to reach whānau in a way that works for them
Educating and empowering families around the importance of immunisation, and supporting informed, confident health decisions
Administering vaccines safely and sensitively, while monitoring for reactions and offering post-care advice
Collaborating with GPS, public health teams, and Pacific community groups to enhance programme reach
Keeping clear, compliant patient records and contributing to accurate data reporting
Helping to grow and strengthen outreach strategies, guided by Pacific values and community needs
What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate and a minimum of 3 years experience in community or public health nursing
Immunisation certificate and a solid understanding of national vaccination schedules and best practices.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills - able to engage with respect, empathy and cultural humility.
Proficiency in one or more Pacific Island languages, such as Samoan, Tongan or Niuean, is highly desirable.
A solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, to achieve program goals.
A genuine calling to serve Pacific communities and uplift health outcomes.
