Floof Pet Care is officially in Edmonton, and we’re building a trusted network of professional pet sitting contractors dedicated to high-quality, responsible pet care. Unlike other platforms, we focus on experience, accountability, and ongoing support to help sitters build a sustainable business.
We are looking for experienced pet care professionals who want to establish themselves in pet sitting with the backing of a reliable and transparent platform.
Who We're Looking For
We only accept experienced pet care professionals from the following fields:
Veterinary Professionals (Veterinarians, Vet Techs, Vet Assistants, Vet Receptionists)
Dog Trainers, Behaviorists, and Animal Psychologists
Groomers, Kennel Attendants, and Pet Store Employees
Rescue Volunteers, Shelter Workers, and Fosters
Professional Pet Sitters (Minimum 2 Years of Experience)
Casual pet sitting as a hobby does not qualify. Applicants must have experience in the pet care industry to be considered.
Requirements
Must be at least 19 years old and legally eligible to work
We do not accept pet sitters who have just owned pets in the past. All pet sitters must have a minimum of 2 years of professional pet care experience (if pet sitting is your only experience).
Reliable, responsible, and capable of handling pets with various temperaments
Strong communication skills and responsiveness to client requests
Ability to provide boarding, drop-in visits, walking, pet sitting, or house sitting
Willingness to adhere to high standards of care and professionalism
