Job Summary:

v As the State Head of our Homecare Center, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations and delivery of home care services. You will lead a team of healthcare professionals and support staff, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to patients in their homes. Your role will involve strategic planning, program development, staff management, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

v Program Development: You are responsible for developing and implementing home care programs and services. This includes assessing community needs, designing service models, and establishing protocols and guidelines for home healthcare delivery.

v Staff Management: The central in-charge oversees the recruitment, training, and management of home care staff, including nurses, caregivers, therapists, and other professionals. They ensure proper staffing levels, competency, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

v Care Coordination: Coordinating and managing care for home care patients is a crucial responsibility. The central in charge ensures that patients receive appropriate and timely care by coordinating schedules, assigning caregivers, and facilitating communication between the healthcare team, patients, and their families.

v Quality Assurance: Monitoring and maintaining the quality of home care services is essential. The central in charge establishes mechanisms to assess and monitor the quality of care provided, sets standards, and implements measures to enhance patient safety and outcomes in the home care setting.

v Patient Assessment and Care Planning: The central in charge ensures that comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions and care needs are conducted. They collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and make necessary adjustments to the care provided.

v Resource Allocation: Managing resources effectively is a key responsibility. The center in-charge allocates resources such as budgets, equipment, and supplies to support home care services. They ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and appropriately to meet patient needs.

v Regulatory Compliance: Compliance with applicable regulations and standards is crucial in home care. The center in-charge ensures that the organization operates in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements. They stay informed about changes in regulations and implement necessary updates to maintain compliance.

v Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration are vital in home care. The center in-charge fosters communication and collaboration among home care staff, patients, families, and other healthcare providers involved in the patient's care. v Patient and Family Education: Educating patients and their families about the home care process, self-care techniques, and disease management is essential. v Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation, and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

v Stay informed about industry trends, research findings, and best practices in home care to enhance service delivery.

COLLABORATING WITH VARIOUS HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS AND STAKEHOLDERS

Ø Doctors, Hospitals (Private & Govt), Nursing Homes, Poly Clinics: Collaborating with healthcare facilities involves building partnerships, sharing resources, and establishing referral networks.

Ø Pharmacies: Collaboration with pharmacies can involve establishing medication management programs, medication adherence initiatives, and promoting health education.

Ø Ambulances: Collaborating with ambulance services is indeed crucial for ensuring timely emergency response and efficient patient transportation

Ø Radiology and Pathology Centers: Collaboration with diagnostic centers can involve sharing patient information, access to specialized tests, and ensuring efficient reporting and follow-up.

Ø Corporates, Clubs, Hotels, and Embassies: Collaboration with these entities can involve providing healthcare services, wellness programs, and medical consultations to their employees, members, guests, and residents.

Ø Healthcare Consultants, Agencies, NGOs, Skill Development Institutions: This collaboration can involve knowledge exchange, capacity building programs, and joint initiatives to address healthcare challenges and improve service delivery.

Ø Foreign Societies and Odisha Societies Abroad: Collaboration with various foreign societies for respective states, Odisha societies in USA, UK, Europe, Japan, Australia etc, to promote cultural exchange, foster international understanding, and create opportunities for economic partnerships.

Ø Medical Tourism and Collaboration with Embassies: Collaborating with embassies, medical tourism agencies, and inter-state patient agencies can significantly boost the growth of medical tourism in Tier 1 cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.etc.

Ø Inter-State Patient Agencies: Collaborating with agencies that cater to patients from different states helps in coordinating healthcare services for patients seeking treatment in a different location.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

v Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

v More than 10 YEARS Proven experience in managing and leading healthcare services,2 years in home care sector is preferable.

v Strong knowledge of home-care regulations, standards, and best practices.

v Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

v Ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various stakeholders.

v Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

v Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.

v Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic medical records systems.

v Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
