Haribhakti & Co. LLP is currently looking for top and mid-level management candidates in AAS in their Mumbai, Bengaluru Bengaluru, and Chennai locations.
Job Title: - ASSISTANT MANAGER - Statutory Audit
SBU: - Audit & Assurance Services
Division: - Audit
Competencies: -
• In-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting standards as per ICAI Guidelines
• The ability to apply complete areas of auditing principles to client situations
• The ability to understand transactional flow and key transition cycles
• The ability to make constructive suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures
• The ability to identify preventive and detective controls and to corroborate system notes
• A basic knowledge of the audit software
Experience bracket: -
• Articleship from a mid or large sized firm.
• Out of total yrs of Articleship experience, minimum 1.5 yr of experience should have statutory audit exposure.
• 3-4 yrs of post qualification experience in Statutory audits of preferred industry
• Sector specific experience preferred eg. NBFC/Banking / Insurance
Academic Qualification: -
• Chartered Accountant with membership number allotted by ICAI
• Additional qualifications such as DISA / CISA / Diploma in IFRS / IFRS or CISA certification course will be an advantage
Job Responsibilities: -
The incumbent is expected to work on various stages of the audit, including execution in the areas of compliance testing, cash, accounts receivable, inventories, fixed assets, accounts payable and accruals. Typical responsibilities may include:
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Day to day Interaction with clients during course of audit fieldwork.
• Execution of work as per the Firm’s Policies and review of areas carried out by team
• Executing the instructions of the seniors/team leaders for various assignments
• Reporting the work progress to seniors/team leaders on a regular basis
• Filing and documentation as per Audit Manual
• Adherence to office procedures, rules & regulations, follow up for fees and TDS certificates

• Accounting & Auditing Induction Module (for new experienced hires and new Member Firms)
