Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Florida OR the ability to obtain prior to hire date
Intermediate level of sterile compounding experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule (5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends)
Ability to work in office at ++84 Premier Parkway Miramar, FL 33025
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Ability to lift to 30 pounds
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Responsibilities
Position Schedule: 5 8-hour shifts, or 4 10-hour shifts between 7am-7pm weekdays with rotating weekends
Perform sterile compounding according to company policy and regulations including USP 7+7 and USP 800
Maintain competency related to performing sterile compounding
Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication and supply ordering, receiving, and maintenance
Troubleshoot equipment, hardware, and software issues relating to compounding
Participate in completing and documenting all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements
Work within a team to triage and respond to all compounding needs promptly
Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding
