Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in the Central Sterilising Services Department. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for providing reprocessing services for patient care equipment and surgical instruments.

Key Responsibilities

Reprocessing services for patient care equipment and surgical instruments

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Monitoring and reporting on reprocessing equipment

Orienting new staff members in CSSD

Providing great customer service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

CSSD experience in accordance with the Award

Knowledge of surgical instrumentation

Knowledge of sterilization procedures and practices
