Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Stick Packaging Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor stick pack machines to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of powdered or granulated products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing or food-grade production environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate stick pack machines in accordance with production orders and SOPs
Load materials (film, product, etc.) into the machine and adjust settings (temperature, speed, length) as needed
Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
Perform in-process quality checks (weight, seal integrity, lot code accuracy) and record data as required
Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate to maintenance when necessary
Clean and sanitize equipment and work area according to GMP and sanitation protocols
Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and downtime reports
Assist with changeovers between products or packaging formats
Follow all safety, quality, and cGMP procedures to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating stick pack, vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS), or similar packaging machines preferred
Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to use hand tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Experience in a GMP, HACCP, or food/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
