Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Stonemason to join our specialist stonemasonry team. The successful candidate will work on both restoration and new-build projects, demonstrating strong technical skill and attention to craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, shape, and finish stone blocks for walling, facades, arches, and ledges
Interpret technical drawings and work with natural stone materials
Install stonework using traditional and modern techniques
Ensure site cleanliness and compliance with OH&S standards
Collaborate with project managers and other trades for seamless project delivery
Required Skills & Experience:
Certificate III in Stonemasonry or equivalent trade qualification
Minimum 1 years’ proven experience as a professional stonemason
Proficient in reading technical drawings
High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaborative skills
