Job Description:
• Knowledge on Dell-EMC products & technologies like VMAX3, Powermax,Unity,ISILON etc.
• Implementation skills on SAN, NAS, CISCO/Brocade SAN Fabrics implementation, ISL, Port Channeling/trucking and zoning Knowledge and working experience of implementing and designing of Data Migration.
• Knowledge and working experience on EMC Software like SAN copy, Open replicator, Open Migrator, SRDF, Time Finder, Replication Manager, Power Path/ME.
• knowledge on operating systems like UNIX and Windows and awareness on Virtualization and VMware. An implementation skill on Dell-EMC is a must.
• Specialist Certification in any of Dell-EMC products, ITIL is an added advantage. Integrating different applications like Oracle, Sql, Sybase, SAP etc into storage is an added plus.
• Experience on virtualizing storage array environment & data mobility using VPLEX is added plus. Customer focused.
• · Strong communication skills and exposure to international customers and ability to demonstrate Sense of urgency regarding customer reported issues. Strong problem solving experience required. Cross-Functional skill.
• · Organizational skills. Knowledge of the technical aspects of hardware/software subject matter.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and processes. ITIL certification preferred. Knowledge on VMAX / PMAX/ Block / Unity /Administration/ file. In Depth Knowledge on FAST VP /Thin Provisioning Administration.
• In Depth Knowledge on Replication Technology SRDF /S , SRDF /A , Time Finder Clone /Snap , Recovery Point,RM. Knowledge on Migration Technology PPME /Open Replicator /Open Migrator .
• Knowledge on Fabric ( Cisco Primary ( ISL , Port Channel ) / Brocade ) Knowledge on tools ( Power Path ,Symcli , ECC , Storage Scope , RPA , RP, Fabric Manager ) cisco, brocade, Xtream I/o
