JOB TITLE:
Sr. Storage Engineer
LOCATION:
Gurgaon, India
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
• BS/B Tech in computer science, information systems or systems engineering
• 8+ years’ experience in IT industry including:
• 5+ years of experience working with Netapp block/File storage systems.
• 5+ years of storage networking SAN/NAS implementation and administration
• 3+ years of experience in a virtualization and systems administration environment
• 3 + Years of experience in Linux administration.
• Experience in the implementation and support of Dell-EMC ISILON hardware and software solutions.
• Experience in the implementation and support of NetApp hardware and software solutions including AFF, FAS,, cluster OnTap, Netapp cloud volume, Flexgroup.
• Experience in managing fiber channel based SAN fabrics using Brocade and/or Cisco SAN switches.
• Experience in NAS protocols including CIFS and NFS.
• Strong knowledge and experience with VMware server virtualization technologies; VCP certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux operating system; Linux certification a plus.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with Linux servers and Linux based applications.
• Knowledge and experience with VDI solutions a plus.
• Coordinate work with multi-cultural and multiple time zone teams.
• Foster collaborative team approach.
• Advanced level analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ITILv3 certification is a plus
