### Job Overview:
Store Staff members are responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, and supporting the store's daily operations. This role requires enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, providing product information and recommendations.
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to the Store Manager when necessary.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quick and efficient service at the cash register.
- Sales and Product Knowledge:
- Assist customers in locating products and provide detailed information about product features and benefits.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer shopping experiences and increase store sales.
- Stay informed about promotions, sales, and store policies.
- Store Maintenance and Organization:
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing, following company guidelines for merchandise display.
- Restock shelves and displays as needed and ensure that products are correctly priced and labeled.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any stock shortages or discrepancies.
- Perform regular store cleaning tasks, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing displays.
- Cash Handling and Transactions:
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while adhering to store policies and procedures.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other store staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store policies, procedures, and promotions.
- Support team members with their tasks as needed and contribute to a positive work environment.
### Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Store Staff or in a similar retail management role for 3-4 years.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying merchandise.
