• Store Designer 3
• H11-HOC/HON
• OVERVIEW:
Store Designer 3 will work closely with Manager of Store Design to execute retail store design for new stores and remodels. Store Designer 3 will review and process site information, prepare floor plans, interior and exterior elevations, renderings, and other materials to support design solutions. Store Designer will direct the activities of outside architects to execute design packages for store roll outs.
• RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide external architecture partners on creation of schematic design and design development packages to support design solutions while adhering to brand design guidelines, standards, and brand strategy
- Demonstrate a working level of business knowledge and current design trends
- Review drawing sets for adherence to design intent, standards and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to assure project completion within schedule and budget.
- Prepare presentation materials and make internal presentations to project partners and senior management.
- Partner with construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, and store operations.
- Review and approve shop drawings (project specific).
- Attend Brand meetings for visual and operational reviews to understand Brand requirements/needs.
- Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity.
- Manage multiple projects at varying phases of life cycle at once.
- Ability to assess, prioritize and self-manage time/workload in fast paced, process oriented and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Draft and produce schematic design and design development packages as needed

• Qualifications
• QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-7 years of design experience working on retail projects
- Must have high level of technical expertise in AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, Word and Excel.
- Proficient sketching, rendering and presentation skills to communicate ideas.
- Maintain knowledge of new materials and design techniques through industry publications and activity.
- Strong attention to detail
- Established personal strategies to keep work organized in order to meet budgets and stay on schedule.
- Desire to be a part of a high performance team
- Self-motivated and strong communication skills.

B.S. in Architecture or Interior Design
