You are entrusted with recording transactions for merchandise sales and returns
Paint a favorable picture of Westlake Ace Hardware
Welcome and acknowledge patrons as they come in and peruse the store
If known, thank customers by name as they prepare to leave the establishment
Exhibit a welcoming and sociable attitude; excel in engaging with customers and coworkers
Expedite the flow of customers through the checkout lanes
Attend to all calls and notifications promptly, with courtesy and effectiveness
Illustrate a concern or issue that demands the support of leadership
Consistently broaden your product awareness and have the skill to guide customers through store layout and product identification
Help in establishing pricing, arranging stock, labeling, and packaging products
Strictly observe the procedural requirements for all cash register transactions
Required to maintain the equilibrium of the register drawer
Comply with all Store Support Center initiatives or promotions that are to be executed at the cash registers
Get involved in store and cashier discussions
Keep the front end, including checkout areas and entrance doors neat and clean at all times
Face and dust front end
Assist in the upkeep of impulse counters by replenishing stock regularly and updating the inventory to match seasonal demands
Keep shopping carts supplied with up-to-date promotional materials at all times
Ensure that there is always a sufficient stock of forms and supplies
Provide guidance on decorating the front area in line with the Store Support Center program's requirements
Organize cart retrievals as the situation calls for
Ensure management is aware of the merchandise returns that require re-warehousing
Execute all supplementary duties as delegated
