Full job description
Job Purpose:
The Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and managing materials, tools, equipment, and products used in the manufacturing process. The role ensures that accurate stock records are maintained and that inventory levels are adequate to meet production requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:1. Material Handling & Inventory Management:
Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders or invoices (quantity and quality).
Properly tag, label, and store materials in designated locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual registers or inventory management software (e.g., ERP).
Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
2. Issuance & Documentation:
Issue raw materials, consumables, or tools to production as per request slips or job cards.
Ensure proper documentation (issue slips, GRNs, bin cards) is maintained and filed correctly.
Track materials issued to and returned from production.
3. Stock Monitoring & Replenishment:
Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and raise requisitions for reordering materials in a timely manner.
Alert purchase or procurement teams about low stock or urgent requirements.
4. Housekeeping & Safety:
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Follow proper handling and storage protocols for chemicals, hazardous, or fragile items.
Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
5. Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with purchase, quality control, accounts, and production departments for smooth material flow.
Provide daily/weekly/monthly stock reports to the supervisor or manager.
Assist in internal and external audits of inventory.
6. Record Keeping & Compliance:
Maintain updated stock registers, inward/outward logs, and vendor records.
Ensure that storage procedures comply with ISO, 5S, and company policies.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
