We are looking to change the game on how to bring to life the joys of sport in the UK and we are recruiting a new Store Manager for our Cardiff store.
Decathlon Cardiff is a Tesco concession, situated in Culverhouse Cross, located on the outskirts of the city. The store spans 1,200 sqm over one floor. It plays a vital role in the local community, serving as a key destination for both residents and tourist
What You Will Do
The responsibilities of a Decathlon Store Manager include the recruitment, onboarding and leadership of a sporty team toward the following objectives:
• Attracting and recruiting new Decathlon customers.
• Exploring and creating new solutions to showcase our full range of products and services for 70 sports within a smaller store format.
• Enhancing both our brand and employer image within the catchment to inspire new customers to shop with us and sporty entrepreneurs to work with us.
• Managing an environmentally and economically sustainable business.
Who Are You?
• An active and sporty Retail Manager with proven experience in managing in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Available to start immediately.
• Passionate about merchandising and testing new ways to sharpen our technical, best-value image in a competitive retail environment.
