Store Manager – New World Waipukurau
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Store Manager to join New World Waipukurau. Joining our senior leadership team, you will be instrumental in propelling the success of our store and its people. If you’re looking for a diverse position where you can lead positive change and development, this is the role for you. We are looking for someone excited to help us drive and deliver on our store strategy.
Full-time opportunity – 1 weekend workday required.
The Role
As Store Manager you will plan, lead, communicate, organise, and control the day-to-day running of the store to achieve the highest possible standards. With a focus on driving operational excellence and promoting a collaborative team culture, you’ll lead from the front and not be afraid to get your hands dirty when needed.

Lead a team of 105 providing them with an awesome place to work and grow
Deliver strong commercial growth
Help plan the stores long-term strategy and then execute it on a day-today basis

What we’re looking for:
Leadership capability you can demonstrate to lead, inspire, and develop our team of 105.
An ability to listen, advise and come up with commercially savvy and customer driven solutions.
In this data driven world, we need someone comfortable and competent with data analysis and excel.
The ability to self-motivate and manage alongside the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Knowledge of SAP
Proven management experience in a retail environment across Dry Goods and Fresh Food Departments. Compliance experience also of huge benefit.
A hands-on leader who enjoys getting involved in store operations and financials and setting departments and leaders up to succeed.
