The Store manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees and assistant manager. The Store manager is responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Store Manager you are given the opportunity to manage and develop staff. You will maintain standards in your store and execute marketing and merchandising programs so as to maximize customer service, store performance and profitability.

Specifically, Store Managers focus on:

· Hiring, training and developing staff, in accordance with company policy and procedures as well as any relevant legislative requirements.

· Managing inventory levels to ensure product availability to meet customer demand and adequate unit turnovers.

· Ensuring the security of inventory and eliminating product shrinkage.

· Active analysis and identification of sales, market, operational and seasonal trends and opportunities.

· Managing transactions and maintaining overall store compliance with all company operating policies and procedures.

· Managing company promotions through the use of effective display and merchandising techniques which meet company standards.

· Preparation and submission of administrative and budgetary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.

· Maintaining store compliance with company operating policies and procedures and any other duties that may be required from time to time.

· Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues

· Conduct Store meetings as needed with employees. (A minimum of one monthly)

· Have the physical ability to perform all duties of a store cashier regularly.

· Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations.

Qualifications

· High School diploma/GED with minimum 2 years applicable experience; 2 years college; military experience

· Must have a valid Driving License

· Prior successful food service, retail, grocery management experience

· Demonstrated effective training, coaching and conflict resolution skills

· Highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment

· Results oriented team player/manager

· Ability to work flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call

· Strong communication skills

· Excellent guest services skills

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· On call

· Weekends as needed

Pay: $45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
