Amalfi Pizza and Pasta Deception Bay is a fast-casual takeaway and delivery restaurant operating within the Amalfi Pizza & Pasta franchise network. The business specialises in freshly prepared pizzas, pastas, and complementary menu items such as sides, desserts, and beverages
Amalfi Pizza & Pasta Deception Bay is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee the operations in Deception Bay, Brisbane.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Operations Management
· Managing day-to-day store operations
· Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
2. Staff Management
· Recruiting, training, and supervising staff
· Supervise employees, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability across all shifts
· Prepare and manage staff rosters based on business demand and labor cost targets
· Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development
· Manage staff conduct, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive team environment
3. Sales & Financial Control
· Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets
· Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability
· Manage budgets, control operational costs (food, labor, utilities)
· Oversee pricing strategies, promotions, and upselling techniques to maximize sales
· Ensure accurate cash handling
4. Inventory Management
· Oversee stock control, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stock rotation (FIFO)
· Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
· Identify and reduce wastage, shrinkage, and stock discrepancies
· Ensure all products meet quality standards and report any supplier issues
· Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes
5. Customer Service
· Ensure high standards of customer service across in-store, phone, and online channels
· Manage customer complaints and feedback professionally, ensuring timely resolution
· Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements where required
· Train staff on service standards, upselling, and customer engagement
· Maintain a welcoming and professional store environment
6. Marketing & Promotions
· Plan and execute in-store and digital promotions in line with company campaigns
· Coordinate SMS, social media, and local area marketing initiatives
· Ensure promotional offers are correctly implemented across POS and online platforms
· Drive local partnerships (schools, gyms, community groups) to increase sales
7. Compliance & Safety
· Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies
· Maintain food safety standards, including hygiene practices, temperature control, and storage procedures
· Ensure staff follow safe work practices and use equipment correctly
· Maintain records for audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance
· Identify and report hazards, incidents, and maintenance issues promptly
7. Systems & Administration
· Operates and manages POS/EFTPOS systems and ensures accurate transaction processing.
· Taking over all devices connected to the system with more computer literacy
Qualification and Experience required:
· A relevant qualification at Diploma level in Business, Management, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail or hospitality supervisory/management role
· Strong understanding of retail or hospitality operations, including:
Stock control
Order management
Service delivery in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse customer base
· High level of organization, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
· Proven leadership and team management skills, including the ability to:
Supervise
Train
Motivate staff
· Experience using POS/EFTPOS systems and basic computer applications
· Knowledge of food safety standards and Work Health & Safety (WHS/OH&S) requirements
· Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and Public holidays
Salary : $78,000-$85,000/ year + Super
Pay: $78,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
