About the opportunity
We have a fabulous opportunity for someone to join our Newmarket team as our Store Manager! Currently our number one store out of 11 stores around the country, we are looking for an experienced manager to lead, coach and motivate our team and manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
Part of our supportive on-boarding process for the new Store Manager will involve spending time at Support Office and the other Auckland stores for initial training followed by on-going support & training from the Retail Manager.
Even though our stores are spread across the country, we like to keep all of our Store Managers connected with each other through weekly dial-ins and bi-annual trips to our Support Office to catch up with peers and be the first to see our new seasonal ranges.
About you
Just as there is no ‘i’ in team, there is no ‘i' in Wallace Cotton either! A collaborative leadership style is important to us.
We know you will love our customers just as much as we do and with your engaging communication skills, positive outlook and natural ability to sell, you will quickly create a fabulous rapport with others.
You will pride yourself on your organisational skills, attention to detail and customer focus.
An interest in the homeware industry is definitely a plus!
