About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IGA Supermarket located in Mannum. As a full-time role, this position is critical to ensuring the smooth running and profitability of our store, while creating an exceptional customer experience.
What you’ll be doing
Manage and lead a team of retail team members, providing effective coaching, training, and performance management.
Oversee all store operations including inventory management, merchandising, sales, and customer service.
Ensure the store meets or exceeds financial and operational targets.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the customer experience.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive, customer-focused culture within the store.
What we’re looking for
Proven history as a successful Store Manager or Retail Manager in the supermarket/grocery industry
Excellent leadership, people management, and coaching skills
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and act on financial and operational data.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences.
Effective problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution abilities
Excellent communication and people skills
Proficient in using retail management software and technology.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
