Store Manager – Independent Supermarket (Greater Melton Region)

About the Role:
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards across all departments while leading, mentoring, and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all store operations, including staff management, stock control, and merchandising
- Drive sales, profitability, and KPI performance
- Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong community engagement
- Manage rosters, recruitment, and staff training
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
About You:
- Proven experience in supermarket or retail management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Sound understanding of stock management, margins, and store performance metrics
- Flexible availability, including weekends if required
