R & T Services is on the hunt for a Store Managers to drive our store sales and team at multiple locations :
Location: Wellington and New Plymouth
About the role:
The Store Manager will ensure a smooth running of all store daily operations and customer orders, all the way
through to sale completion and after-sales experience.
You will have natural leadership and your ability to motivate, develop and empower our retail team members to think independently and commercially will be vital to your success.
All whilst ensuring your team and yourself are strategically in line with our company vision and policies, which in turn will drive the business forward on our long-term growth plans and will be key to the greater success of the business.
Job duties may includes but not limited to
Completes store operational requirements and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintain store by selecting orienting and training employees
Maintain store staff job result by coaching , mentoring and disciplining employees, planning monitoring and appraising job results.
Achieves financial objectives by scheduling expenditure; analyzing variances , initiating corrective actions.
Identifies current and future customers requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and persons in position to understand the services requirements.
Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts , maintaining inventories.
Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotion, authorizing clearance sales , study trends.
Markets merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
Maintain stock take, monitor stock quality and quantity, conduct weekly & monthly stock take. Generate purchase order.
Report asset breakdowns immediately and monitor maintenance issue.
Complete fuel reconciliation daily.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops , reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks .
Maintain operations by initiating , coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Promote a culture that ensure HSSE awareness .
Prepare reports on all incident.
Manage suppliers invoices and other administrative task for financial reporting
We are looking for a mature person who has the following skills and attributes:
One to two year of Retail experience
Tertiary qualification
Ability to work semi-autonomously
A solid leadership style which boosts store culture
Manage retails crime situation maturely and liaise with authorities as required
$30 to $35 Salary dependent on experience
Full time role minimum 30 hours per week
Some roster work during weekend
