About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Store Person to assist sort, load and unload our clients' freight, ensuring the product is received in a prime and quality condition.
This is a fulltime role working on our Dayshift, Monday to Friday from 4am to 2pm, with rostered weekends, based at our Highbrook, Auckland Depot.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks
Staging pallets and sorting freight
Checking line-haul units are operating at correct temperatures before opening doors to unload.
Ensuring both the chiller and freezer floors are clear of outbound freight every morning and any remaining items are loaded to the correct delivery runs before dispatch.
Clean and tidy work areas once freight has been loaded out for delivery.
Ensuring Health and Safety compliance – both personally and within the team
About You
OSH approved, up-to-date Forklift License
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience operating a Forklift
Experience in freight loading in temperature-controlled environments – advantageous
Keen understanding of inventory management and cycle of order fulfilment
Committed to working together as a team to achieve shared goals
