Job Description
Acu-Tech Piping Systems is seeking an experienced and motivated Storeperson to join our Fabrication team.
To be successful in this role you must meet the following critical elements:
Be a quick study, learning poly pipe fittings and accessories
Forklift operation of palleted and ugly freight
Fulfilling customer orders and performing quality control checks
Be able to work effectively, using their warehousing experience
Work as a team member
The skills and licences required for the position include:
Valid High-risk work license - Forklift
Previous experience in a store position, ideally within a manufacturing environment
High level of accuracy
Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently receive incoming goods and checking for accuracy
Accurately picking and packing orders for dispatch
Assist in loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods
Assist in the organizing of the warehouse and fabrication yard
Transport fittings and pipes to and from the fabrication department
Participate in stock takes and checking stock levels
Assist in the fabrication of valves and fittings
Job Types: Full-time, Casual
Pay: $25.60 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
