Responsibilities
This position is responsible for overseeing all receiving, storeroom inventory and operations
A little taste of your day-to-day
Check shipment by comparing it with purchase order and/or invoice to insure what is being received is what was ordered (quantity, price, quality, state, size, count, weight tolerance and acceptable expiration date and received at the proper temperature)
Work in conjunction with Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef and Director of Finance to ensure appropriate handling, transport, and documentation of all food ordering and receiving between departments
To follow/adhere to established standard operating procedures and local health regulations
Document discrepancy and notify supervisor immediately of shortage
Help to set up local vendors and products and communicate items that need to be used
Assists with placing orders or any other reasonable task assigned
Receives orders and rotates stock when putting the orders away
All incoming products need to be rotated and dated to ensure the products are rotated properly to avoid spoilage
Assist in conducting End-Of-Month Physical Inventory
Ensure the storeroom is clean and organized at all times

About This Position

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
