Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Straight Truck Driver to join our client's team in North York. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating trucks up to GVW 10,000 lbs and who is comfortable with physical work, including hand bombing.
Responsibilities:
Operate a straight truck safely and efficiently
Perform loading and unloading (hand bombing required)
Complete assigned deliveries on time
Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate logs and documentation when required
Requirements:
Experience driving a truck with GVW 10,000 lbs
Clean driving abstract
LDE (Letter of Driving Experience) from an insurance company
Ability to lift and move materials (physical work involved)
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
North York, ON (York District): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
