Claims Specialist Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Claims, you’ll have responsibility for handling strata and landlords claims from lodgement through assessment to payment including:
Acknowledgement of FNOL
Desktop assessment of smaller claims
Appointment of loss adjusters and panel repairers
Processing claims within SLA timeframes
Deliver extraordinary levels of service that delight our brokers & their clients
Work with management and underwriters to provide feedback on claims trends
About You
You’ve been handling strata or landlords claims for two years or more and have a good understanding of the General Insurance Code of Conduct.
You fell into insurance after a brief but unfulfilling stint in another industry – maybe the legal profession.
You see the opportunity to transform insurance with tech and don’t want to spend another minute of your day doing pointless admin.
You’re detail-orientated and like technical insurance work, including all the nerdy twists and turns of policies, compliance and legislation.
