Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Content Editor to join our team. As a key member of our editorial department, you will be responsible for editing and publishing high-quality sports content on a daily basis.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy and quality of all published articles, while also meeting tight deadlines and working closely with a talented team of writers and editors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced editor to take their career to the next level and work on a wide range of exciting sports topics.
Responsibilities:
• Editing and publishing 20-25 articles per day
• Focusing on delivering high-quality content that meets our readers' expectations
• Working closely with the writing and editing teams to ensure seamless collaboration
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of breaking news and events in various sports
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Media/Journalism, or related field 6-12 months of experience in sports content editing or proofreading
• Strong command of the English language and American culture
• Ability to analyze article performance metrics and use insights to improve content quality
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior writers
• Passion for sports and eagerness to cover breaking news and live events
