Who are we looking for
If you are a master of the written word with a passion for cutting-edge technology and an insatiable thirst to simply complex narratives, then we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Strategic Communication Specialist at Soroco. You will collaborate closely with our executive leadership to develop key content assets, driving us towards our growth business goals.
Our ideal candidate is a master of the written word, fuelled by a passion for cutting-edge technology and an insatiable thirst for creativity. With demonstrated expertise in creative writing, you should excel under deadlines and possess a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in content optimization and brand consistency is a must.
Your ultimate responsibility will be to oversee key content initiatives, driving engagement, maintaining brand consistency, and establishing outstanding thought leadership.
What you will do
• Collaborate closely with our brilliant executive leadership team to bring their vision, ideas, and passion to live.
• Transform complex concepts into clear and compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
• Craft engaging blog posts, thought leadership articles, social media content, website copy, and more to captivate and educate
• Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all channels.
• Rehash content based on search, social, and industry trends
• Stay updated with industry news, competitor content, and audience preferences
• Develop and own the editorial calendar.
What will make you successful
• 5-10 years of exceptional writing exp in Tier 1 tech enterprise or academia or tech/business media outlets
• 3+ years of experience working directly with an executive
• Digital native
• Strong academic record from a top-tier university
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong instincts for how to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand, creative messaging for non-technical audiences.
• Impeccable time management, thoughtfulness and organizational skills.
• Excellent process-oriented thinking to support the development of scalable processes
